Tour Program
Ihlara Valley has an important place among the canyons in the world. Ihlara Valley, which is 18 kilometers long, 150 meters deep and 200 meters wide, and has thousands of living spaces, is the largest canyon in the world where people lived in the past, unlike other canyons. The Melendiz River, which shapes Ihlara Valley and gives life to the valley, is the main source of life here. Hundreds of churches and rock-carved places created by easily carving the rocks surrounding the valley have made the valley one of the most important cultural and civilization centers in the world.
It is located in the town of Kaymaklı, 20 km from Nevşehir. It has 8 floors and the first floor is dated to the early period. The history of Kaymaklı goes back to 3000 BC. This city, built during the Hittite Period, has eight floors. Kaymaklı, which was expanded and transformed into an underground city by carving out other areas during the Roman and Byzantine periods, was carved into tuff rocks. In the area, which is suitable for the necessary shelter conditions for a community to live temporarily, there are rooms and halls connected to each other by narrow corridors, wine depots, water cellars, kitchen and food depots, ventilation shafts, water wells, a church and large bolt stones that close the door from the inside to prevent any danger from outside.
The area where restaurants with nature views are located.
Pigeon Valley, which starts from Uçhisar and extends to Göreme and covers an area of 4 kilometers, takes its name from the pigeon nests carved into the rocks. The local people fed these pigeons until the 9th century and used their manure in the vineyards and their eggs in the plasters of the frescoes. If you want to see both the pigeon nests and the unique flora offered by nature, do not return without walking this valley.
It is located at the end of Pigeon Valley on the Göreme Uçhisar road, 2 km away from Göreme. It is one of the most beautiful photo points of Cappadocia, which reveals the panorama of Erciyes, the most magnificent mountain in the region with its 3917 meters height, and the valley full of pigeon houses.
